OVERVIEW

Traversing both fields of art and marine science means research and study in both.

Throughout our time focusing on elasmobranch conservation, observation and data-collection were our primary focus. Manta ray research was, and to a certain degree still is a new field, so being in such close proximity to these amazing animals often yielded significant results.

Below are publications of which I am the sole author, or where we contributed data. Being a direct influence on the “scientific” papers I now write to describe each Lost Specimen, it is easy to see how these two worlds intertwine in my current art practice.
